I’m very sure that moms and future moms out there would agree with me on this – you’d definitely miss your clothes when you’re pregnant! :’(

I’m still on my first trimester. So basically, I am not supposed to be showing those gorgeous baby bumps yet but I’m already donning a slightly bigger frame. Also, since I already have semi-huge bellies way before the pregnancy, it just seem to double now. Dati kasi nagagawa ko sya itago basta mag-inhale lang ako. But now I can’t. Ang sakit mag-inhale eh! So I just allow it to pop. Haaaaaaayyy… So mukha akong 4months preggers. Ang kyot diba?

I’m also on that stage where I can’t fit on most of my tight-fitting clothes. Eh kilala nyo naman ako! Gusto ko sa damit yung masikip at kumakapit. I can’t wear my pants and my shorts and most of my skirts. I am left with leggings and dresses and oversized shirts. Tinatamad tuloy ako mag ayos minsan sa umaga. Add the fact that I have morning sickness pa. So I’d usually hurry up in dressing in the morning para before the morning sickness kicks in, nakaligo na ko at nakabihis para di naman ako masyado ma-late sa office.

My friend who just arrived from the US can’t believe her eyes when she first saw me last Thursday. I was on my oversized sweater and leggings and silver sandals. No make up. Super messy bun. Naloka sya! Hindi daw ako yun!! :’( Ang hirap naman kasi pag nagmamadali sa umaga. Hep! Hep! Hep! I know some of you would tell me that maybe I am having a boy because I am not maarte and blooming. #pamahiin I am just making it clear that I am still VERY maarte. I put make ups during weekends and during my OB-GYN visits. Sadyang wala lang akong time and energy pag may pasok kasi nga I’m having morning sickness at isa yan sa nagpapalungkot sa buhay-buntis ko. Ayoko naman bitbitin yung make up kit ko. Ang bigat kaya nun. And I easily get tired lately.

So thank goodness I still have some pending OOTD posts on my hard drive. Samahan nyo nalang akong balikan ang nakaraan. Yung mga panahong kaya ko pang mag-skinny jeans!

Ayan mga the! Inspiration ko yan para di naman ako lumalon ng bongga while preggers. I am really chubby pre-pregnancy so I won’t allow myself to be super huge while pregnant. Mahirap magpapayat and ayoko naman lumobo. My boyfriend told me that I am not allowed to have stretch marks and to be losyang after giving birth. Baklang yon! Lakas ng loob porket nanonood lang sya. Tse! But that serves as my inspiration. I’ll prove to him and to everyone that even chubby girls like us could do it.

Most of the time kasi, those hot mommies who could maintain their figures are the ones that are actually skinny in the first place. I noticed that chubby girls like me are the ones with the bigger tendency to gain so much weight and never lose them. Pero kaya ko to!!! All for the sake of my kaartehan. But can you please help me??!! Feel free to leave comments on what I’ll do. I’d appreciate it.

Wore this on a cinema date (Four Sisters and a Wedding) with the siblings and the cousins and the companion. We went to Lucky China Town Mall in Binondo hence the sweater. Plus it’s raining earlier that day. Hahahaha! Halata bang defensive ako sa ginaw-na-ginaw look ko? (Do I sound defensive?)

I love Lucky China Town cinemas. The seats are spacious and it’s inclined so the petite girls like me won’t have to suffer with the head-blocking-view. Why won’t all cinemas be like that?? Why?? I mean, I always end up choosing the first row seats in the cinema because I’m sure if someone seats in front of me (and most likely s/he’ll be taller than I am), I won’t be able to get a full view of the screen. #pandakproblems

Anyway, Lucky China Town Mall cinemas are also freezing cold. The sister and I watched Man of Steel there a couple of weeks back and I was freezing by the time I left the cinema. So this time I came prepared. Loved the cozy sweater and the way it hugged me and warmed my body. I want more of this please!

Also, I wore the exact same ensemble a couple of weeks back at work sans the flats. Of course, I wore my beautiful heels.

Isn’t it gorgeous? I’m on an all blue outfit and I love it. It looks clean and crisp and office appropriate even if my skirt is a bit short. Of course, I pull down the skirt as low as I can while inside office premises. Dress codes are to be followed at all times!

How’d you like my look?

I’m currently down with severe tummy ache because apparently, I am acidic once again. Was even rushed to the ER yesterday at around 3AM. I’m still not feeling well. I still get occasional tummy aches and I swear, when I say it hurts… it damn well hurts like crazy!! I am now taking a gazillion of meds and I’m not allowed to eat a gazillion other things. I just wish I’d be well soon. I have tons of events lining up. I wanna attend to all of them!!

According to the Mayans, the world is supposed to end last 12-21-2012! Well, I’m still here blogging and its already 2013 so I guess its not true?! Harhar!

If you are sure that the world would truly end, what are you going to wear? I woke up on 21st of December asking myself that question. Of course, I don’t believe that end of the world hiatus but you know me! I’d use every excuse to dress up.

And so, I pulled out my lovely leggings with bubble prints. It’s the closest to a polkadot that I could think of that day. I grew up believing that one should wear polkadots on new years for luck and good fortune. So I wore my bilog-bilog leggings for luck! Atleast kung end of the world na, swertihin naman ako!

I also did some research and learned that Blue and Green are the lucky colors of 2013 and so I incorporate those colors on my look as well. In case it really is the end of the world, atleast I still gotta wear the lucky colors for 2013! Advance lang just in case hindi na natin abutan.

Also, I threw that “simple Aubrey” out of the window and went all out. Print on print on print it is for me! It’s the end of the world, I should be me! I should dress to the nines and be all out!! It’s my last day on earth anyway. (BTW, see the 2nd photo above? My guy friends are photo bombing my look shots!! Say hello to Blehm and Vhin doing the peace sign at my back.)

Say hello to my new necklace! They are Cor’s gift to me. She gave it to me that same day. I wore it right after opening the gift and I am so happy it matches my outfit!

Ang baba ng EQ ko promise. All the gifts I receive, I just can’t help but open them right away. And most of them, I use right away as well! Hahahaha.. Hindi ko kayang maghintay.

Say hello to my Boss Paolo and my blog photographer and friend Cor! :) Paolo caught us taking look shots and we ended up taking group pictures. I told you my friends are supportive. Hinahayaan nila ko mag-pose sa office kahit mukha kong tanga!

Doomsday lunch was celebrated this way! :) My friends prepared some lunch for us to share. We had hams and cheese and bibingka and graham cakes. Siksikan na sa lamesa! We had lunch together. Talking about doomsday and wondering what time it’ll happen. Is it eastern or western time?!!! Hahahaha!

Hi there Garry! If you ever read this post I hope you won’t get mad! You look so darn serious eating there! And Cor is so takaw! I have proof! While Blehm is trying to solve that puzzle. You’ll see him doing that the entire lunch time together with Kalli! My friends are really something! Baliwag lang ang peg.

Hello Cor! Will you still love me after seeing this blog post?! :) You are so takaw kaya ang taba eh. Hahahaha!

Sige lahat sumusubo. Hahaha! And oh! We have the wonderful Makati buildings as our backdrop. Yay!

The rest of the guys! Say hello to my mates – Jay and Gelo! And Cor, my boss Pao, Kalli and ang nagulat na si Garry! Hahahaha! Wacky shots lahat. Pag nabasa nya to patay ako!

And then, since we are all still alive - we had dinner at Wingman! I’d go back there and do a proper review. For now, all I can say is that they have the best chicken wings in the metro! I love it! I would surely go back!

In Wingman, they won’t give you utensils. Just this plastic gloves! So here you could see na nag-volt in ang mga plastik. Literally! It was a brilliant idea. Coz I really can’t imagine eating chicken wings using fork and knife. I’d rather use my fingers thank you very much. Although I hope they’d have sizes for their plastic gloves. My tiny hands looked minuscule in them! Hahahaha.. Size small please! Or extra small for my extra small hands and fingers.

And then we ended the day at Rue Bourbon. They drank their hearts out while I… hmmm… sit and relax! @_@ I stopped drinking a long time ago. I guess that’s one of the best things I did for 2012. Saying goodbye to alcohol. I am so not healthy and alcohol is not helping. Plus I love the fact that I can go home sane! Without a headache the next day. Makikitawa nalang ako sa kanila. Tapos oorder ng water or iced tea. Pwede na yun! Nasa company naman yan!

Say hello to Kenjie! He’s one of the victims of that puzzle. He spent an X amount of time trying to solve it. Leaving his humongous mug of beer behind. Hahahaha! The minute he solved it, he passed it to the lovers behind him. And the next I knew, Jin and her boyfriend is so engrossed on the puzzle as well. Hahahahaha! Nakakaloka!

And so that’s it! That’s how I spent doomsday with my friends. We ate like it’s the end of the world, they drink like there’s no tomorrow and a couple of us wasted time solving that puzzle. It was fun! If the world really did end that day, I guess I had the best doomsday ever! Not to mention, I am the most fashionable on my last day on earth.

How about you guys, what are you going to wear on the next doomsday! They are saying its gonna be September 2014 or 2015. Hahahaha! I’d be on rainbow bright colors. Para happy!

I am so addicted to my mustard yellow bodycon skirt! I swear I can wear them with everything. And they easily make every outfit fun and noticeable. I love love LOVE it!

I am also so much inlove with my top. The intricate details at the front is to die for. A perfect mix of glam and classy. I think this black top addiction of mine is going to last long. They just make me look thinner! I also try to stay away from sleeveless top lately because I got too much arms to show but the cut of this top is perfect for it makes my arms look smaller too. Now I am so deeply inlove. Yay!

Because of my black top, I thought adding splashes of colors on my entire look wont hurt. The mustard yellow skirt, the ocean blue heels, those cute green bracelets and ocean blue stud earrings. Colors everywhere really but they just worked. They made my outfit fun and quirky and youthful but so put together.

Them cute cardigans surely made my look more smart and so office-appropriate. I loved that it blends well with my top.

Since its just a small cardigan, it didn’t hide any of those cute details at the front of my top. They also didn’t make my top bulky at all making me look slimmer that I actually am. Opo! Hindi ako payat at inaamin ko yun. But I don’t need to be stick-thin to actually look good in my clothes. Look at Alyanna Martinez, an A-lister celebrity stylist. She is a plus-sized woman who dresses so well. Talbog sa kanya ang karamihan sa mga payat na artista. She looks smart and pretty and very stylish.

Pero hindi naman ako magpapakaplastik para sabihin sa inyong ayokong pumayat. Of course I want to! Not because of anything else but because of health reasons. I want to be healthy and feel healthy. Although I am not overweight but I still feel heavy. Also, I want to tone down my body and remove those flabby tummy and arms so I could dress up more easily. Effort po talagang mag outfit pag mejo ma-braso ka at ma-tyan.

Pero habang hindi ko pa naa-achive ang katawang pangarap ko, I will make sure that I dress the part. I won’t allow myself to be unfashionable and I also won’t try hard to be sexaaaayyy. Kung hindi ka kapayatan, wag nating ipilit ang p*kp*k shorts at tube tops. Parang awa nyo na! Wag na wag din nating ipilit ang tight fitting shirts coz we’ll end up looking like a sack of rice. Again, knowing your body is the key. And knowing what to hide and how to hide them would surely make a huge difference.

I am no fashion expert but I do know a thing or two. I may not look my best always but I always feel good in what I wear. I am super happy dressing up. My sense of style may not be acceptable to everyone but this is who I am. I believe that fashion, like most of the things in the world, is subjective. And I am so glad that I live in a democratic country where I can exercise my fashion democracy.
