Yes. I joined the bandwagon and got myself a bottle of every beauty expert's favorite - Micellar Water.

I've heard loads of positive reviews about micellar water and here are loads of brands that carry this. But I opted for the brand that's locally available but still highly recommended.

Maybelline's Micellar Water is definitely a life changing product for me. And to think that they say there are other brands that's better than this one.

I totally get all the hype! It's gentle on the face, and cleans up really well. One of my issues with toners and cleansers is that it still feels like there are some make up residues even though I've been scrubbing real hard. I know! I know! It's a no-no but I can't help it!

But with Micellar Water, a gentle wipe is all I need. And it doesn't sting! Even on nights when I feel like my eyes are too tired for a proper face wash, just the micellar water is enough.

Aminin nyo naman kasi talaga, there are days na parang kelangan mo talaga pumili, pagkabulag o aging skin? Heller! Specially for me who works in the computer all day. Diosmio! Pagkabulag talaga ang aabutin ko pag nag wash ako eh.

So this bottle of micellar water is really a life saver. Why did I not join the band wagon earlier again? Cray! Cray!

This bottle only costs around 200php. Super sulit! A must buy even if you are not using make up everyday. Perfect for cleansing your face.

I also can't help but notice how clear my skin is lately. Been using it for a month now and I swear, I noticed a major improvement.

Summer is here!!

Can you feel it? Oh gosh! We can. I’m dreading our next Meralco bill coz I’m pretty sure it’s sky high coz our home AC has been working non-stop again.

But I guess this year, I ain’t complainin’. After experiencing the Minnesota winter, I guess I have this much more appreciation of our endless summers. I swear, summer is much more fun than that –26C winter.

While I love our summer, of course we still have to be ready before basking on the summer sun. We have to take care of our skin girls. It’s a must! We want to have tan lines but we need them SPFs to protect us.

So I’m really really happy when I got a summer mail from our friends in Céleteque!

They sent me their entire Céleteque Sun Care line!! Wooohoo!! The amount of likes I got on social media when I posted this is enough proof that my friends and followers also love it. Several of my friends are actually users of these products already and has vouched for their effectiveness. So double yey!

The first thing I tried is their Céleteque Dermoscience™ Sun Care Matte Moisturizer with SPF30 (299php for 50mL). I’ve been in the look out for a good daily facial sunblock. Something that won’t break bank. And I’m so happy to report that this one is really THE ONE. I love that while it has SPF, it doesn’t give me that whitish feel on my selfies. Actually, since it’s a Matte moisturizer, it even helps reduce the oiliness on my face. I would usually use this after my daily moisturizer and before my BB cream or SS cream. Pak na pak!

This product surely give us a mattified double sunscreen protection against UVA and UVB rays. And since it’s a moisturizer, it also helps hydrate the skin. Plus it’s hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic since it’s Céleteque.

For those of you who are headed to the beach real soon, Céleteque Dermoscience™ Sun Care Face and Body Sun Defense Spray with SPF50 (449Php for 100mL) is perfect. We have a couple of beach trips in line these summer and I can’t wait to try and use this product. This is the other Nature Essentials product that I’ve mentioned on my Maracuja Oil review – Pure Rosewater.

I have to be honest, when I saw it on the package waiting for me at home, I don’t know what to do with it. I mean, is it a face mist? A toner? A perfume? What will I do with this Pure Rosewater? And so I consulted my bestfriend, Google.

I was amazed at how versatile this pure rosewater is. They even dubbed it as a “wonder of nature” for its endless use. It can help soothe sensitive and irritated skin. Balance and cleance oily skin. Rejuvenate, soften and tone. Add glow. It’s a good anti-oxidant and filled with various vitamins that help prevent ageing. It’s a natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. You can drink it. Put it on your face. Mix on your food. Use as a perfume. Grabe! The list was endless. The more I read up on various articles, the more amazed I get. Nature Essentials sent me a wonder bottle!

But out of the long list I saw online, here are my top favorite use of Pure Rosewater.

I have a very dry skin. It’s with the genes. And people close to me know how addicted I am to anything moisturizing. I am very glad that my mama took care of skin at a very young age. I have soft skin that only needs to be moisturized at all times.

I’ve been using body oil for the longest time. And been using it religiously, else I’d have dry skin the entire day. So when our friends from Nature Essentials sent me a bottle of their Pure Maracuja Oil, I got really really excited.

I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and I’m very happy with the results. Here’s why…

There you go. I am thinking of also putting this oil on my hair and see the effects. But probably next time when its much colder. I usually put oil on my hair when it’s cold to avoid dryness. So yeah, let’s see the results. :)
