Finally! A maternity #OOTD for y’all.

To those of you who’s been asking me to post my maternity #OOTD, here it is. Sorry if it took me a couple of months to actually have the courage to do a fashion blog post. You see, I don’t really feel pretty during my first trimester. Honestly, most of the time I feel awful. I just make it a point to dress up and fix my face everyday because I have friends nastier than me. Eh ano kung buntis ako at pwedeng maiyak ako sa comment nila? Basta sasabihin nila sa akin that I look freakin’ awful and haggard! Ganyan ang true friends. Sarap ilaglag sa drain.

Anyway, this is what I wore yesterday for my EMR (emergency) OB visit. Nothing really alarming, it’s just that my allergic rhinitis was bugging me already. The runny nose and clogged nose is something I am used to, but the dry, itchy eyes? Not so much. I was supposed to see my ENT but was advised to visit my OB first.

So that’s why I’m sporting my Ray-bans inside the mall. Too much light is making my  eyes more itchy and dry. And that’s why I have a bare face here. Maitatago naman ng shades, why bother?

On to my outfit, I’m wearing my sister’s top here paired with my old shorts – unbuttoned and secured with my maternity belt. Finished off my entire look with my preggy sandals. This silver sandals I got from Payless is love. Wasn’t ale to blog about it though. I got it for my friend’s beach wedding and has been my default sandals. It’s rubber soles are perfect for me as it gives so much grip that I really need nowadays.

I love my roomy top and I love the length. It’s perfect to hide the maternity belt and gives enough coverage for my baby bump. The top also has a ribbon at the back which gave me waist definition.

And oh! My CLN bag to carry all my preggy necessities like my Mommy Book, bottled water, extra undies, tissues, alcohol. Whew!

I love being pregnant. And I am now starting to enjoy dressing up because finally, I have a baby bump to show everyone! Haven’t gained much weight if you notice (and the scales are telling me the same thing) except for the obvious bigger tummy so I’m proud to say that I haven’t bought a single maternity piece. Most of the things I’m wearing are actually my pre-pregnancy clothes. It’s just a matter of mixing and matching.

Let me leave you with my paparazzi shot which the sissy took. Sino mag-aakalang batang buntis ako?? Sino??! Hihihihihi…

Another super duper late post. (What’s new?)

This is what I actually wore on the Man of Steel special screening hosted by Wacoal and Nuffnang at the Resort’s World Manila Newport Cinema. I also took the opportunity to bond with my brother coz he’s plus one on the movie screening.

The movie’s around 8:40PM but we went earlier at around 5PM so the brother and I can stroll around the mall and eat before catching the film. It’s my brother’s first time at Resort’s World coz the place is far from our home.

I’m with the brother, so yes! He took my look shots!!! Yay!! I am so glad I have the sweetest brother who didn’t mind the people staring at his Ate who poses like a trying hard model in the middle of the mall. Nyaharhar!

I wore a sleeveless sheer top and a denim mini skirt paired with the sissy’s gold sneakers from Bench. I wanna be comfy hence the sneakers coz I’m with the brother and that usually means loads of walking coz he wants to check out almost all of the sporty shops and japorm shops and trying his best to persuade me to buy him a shirt or if I’m lucky, a pair of shoes! #AteProblems


I tucked my shirt at the front and left the back part which looks like a semi-cape. Of course, I did that to match with my date for the night –Superman! Kaso peg nya si Ms. Lane. Badtrip!

My ever gwapo brother, Ian! Thank baby for taking Ate’s outfit shots and for patiently waiting for me to finish preparing.

Wore this on a cinema date (Four Sisters and a Wedding) with the siblings and the cousins and the companion. We went to Lucky China Town Mall in Binondo hence the sweater. Plus it’s raining earlier that day. Hahahaha! Halata bang defensive ako sa ginaw-na-ginaw look ko? (Do I sound defensive?)

I love Lucky China Town cinemas. The seats are spacious and it’s inclined so the petite girls like me won’t have to suffer with the head-blocking-view. Why won’t all cinemas be like that?? Why?? I mean, I always end up choosing the first row seats in the cinema because I’m sure if someone seats in front of me (and most likely s/he’ll be taller than I am), I won’t be able to get a full view of the screen. #pandakproblems

Anyway, Lucky China Town Mall cinemas are also freezing cold. The sister and I watched Man of Steel there a couple of weeks back and I was freezing by the time I left the cinema. So this time I came prepared. Loved the cozy sweater and the way it hugged me and warmed my body. I want more of this please!

Also, I wore the exact same ensemble a couple of weeks back at work sans the flats. Of course, I wore my beautiful heels.

Isn’t it gorgeous? I’m on an all blue outfit and I love it. It looks clean and crisp and office appropriate even if my skirt is a bit short. Of course, I pull down the skirt as low as I can while inside office premises. Dress codes are to be followed at all times!

I went to the mall with the companion one weekend only to find out that SM Manila is having a Back-To-School Weekend Sale! And I was like, OMG!

You know, I have this love-hate relationship with Mall Sales. I love them because of all the great deals I get but you know, I hate it coz I tend to buy loads!!! Ang hirap tanggihan ng mga cutie patoosie stuff especially if they are on 50% off. Dabah??!

And so, what did I got for myself on that Weekend Sale? These lovely Celine (CLN) bags!!!

I have been looking for a nice “mall bag” for quite some time now. I’m using my office bags every time I go to the mall so I either end up carrying loads of stuff or have an extremely huge bag with only my wallet and lipstick inside plus loads of receipts.

I want something roomy enough to carry my money, my cards, my compact powder, lipstick, phone, portable charger and cord (so I wont go empty batt anytime soon). But I want a small sling bag so I won’t get distracted as I walk around the mall.

So imagine how happy I am when saw these babies on Celine’s (CLN) shelves!!

Plus factor that it’s black. I can wear it with anything! You know me, versatility is always the key.

The bag is on 20% off right off the shelf. But if I get 2 bags, that’ll qualify me for a 50% off! Score!!!! Eh diba nga ang golden rule - if it’s mura you go grab it!

And so I asked for the companion’s help in choosing another bag for me. Anyway, come to think of it. I need another “office bag” coz I have been using the Nine West and the Ayla bags for ages. And I believe that in order for your bags to last longer, you must not use them every single day. Dapat palitan. Pagpahingahin din pag may time.

And so this is what I got….

I opted for this bag that comes in orangey tan color. It’s not too loud so I can still pair it with almost everything in my closet. And most of all, its not black! I just realized that most of my beloved bags are black. The Nine West and the Ayla bags are both in black so I steer clear from it this time.

The bag is medium sized but is SUPER roomy. It can carry most of my stuff. Nagulat ako nagkasya silang lahat! I think I can do “what’s in my bag?” soon. Nyay!

Anyway, I got both bags for only Php 1699!!! Major major score!!!

Wore them slippers here and here. This is actually what I wore on my Ace Hotel staycation with the friendships because it’s such a versatile piece. I can pair it with shorts or skirts or dress and I’d be instant glam. I know I need to wear something versatile since I didn’t pack properly. Nyaharhar! Surprise ang laman ng overnight bag ko. I have to make do whatever treasure I found inside.

Anyway, the ribbons and the gold details sure adds a drop of girliness and a little sophistication. Although they’re slippers, they are perfect for dressing up. The moment I saw this in Celine, I really want to have one. And the best part is, it only cost Php199.00!!! Actually, I find this super cheap so I got one for Mila and another for my Tita since it comes on three colors – champagne pink (this one), cream (what I got for Mila) and navy blue (for the Tita). Oh diba? Told you my shopingera motto is – if its this cheap, you hoard!!!

Make sure you drop by CLN and get them babies. They are so worth it!
